Job: Front Office Manager

This is a senior role and hence a key position at Holbeck Ghyll. The suitable applicant will have first rate numeracy and literary skills, will have a sound knowledge of IT and will be an excellent telephone communicator. The ability to train, motivate and manage a small team is paramount.

Responsibilities (a selection of...):
                          Receptionists and reception administration
                          Reservations system and procedure
                          Internet booking systems
                          Cashiering, billing and banking

Job: Sommelier

A vital role in this Michelin star restaurant. Taittinger Wine List of the Year (2007) and shortlisted for the AA 2008 Wine List of the Year - but still ample scope to develop and improve! The successful applicant will have a passion for wine, be organised and relaxed with the guests.

Responsibilities (a selection of...):
                          Maintenance of wine list including sourcing new wines
                          Liquor orders and control of cellar
                          Stocktaking and achieving gross profit %
                          Wine service
                          Training of assistants

Job: Receptionist

Ideal for a well presented, self motivated person with good social and administration skills.

Duties include meeting and greeting guests, taking reservations, handling correspondence and ensuring overall customer satisfaction. We would consider either a full or part time position with flexible working hours.


Job: Pastry Chef

Minimum experience within a 3 AA Rosette or similar standard establishment required.

Must have the drive and passion to run the pastry section of our Michelin Star kitchen. Senior role in the brigade. Consistency and desire for excellence vital.


Job: Beauty Therapist

NVQ Level 3 in Beauty Therapy required.

Duties include performing all treatments on guests & maintaining cleanliness of spa area. We would consider either a full or part time position with flexible working hours. Full E'Spa training given.

Job: Chef de Partie

Minimum experience within a 2 AA Rosette establishment required.

Must have drive and passion and willingness to work as part of the team. Great opportunity to train in a Michelin Star kitchen.
